Jackson River near Covington, VA has been fishing good the past two weeks. The browns have really started to put the feed bag on. Still a little early for dry fly action but have been seeing some sporadic hatches. Just hasn’t been enough insects to get their attention on the surface. Chris had a couple good days and landed his best brown trout to date. The bright sunny days have been harder for the streamer bite but the nymph fishing has stayed consistent.
