Finally feeling like Spring around here and I have high hopes that I can put up the winter clothes till next Fall. There is no doubt that trout fishing is best in the Spring here in Virginia. Yesterday’s outing was the best of 2015 so far. Bugs hatching and warmer water temps and the were fish in the mood for food. Nymph fishing did the best for us but we did get a couple great brown trout on streamers. I will be at Ranias in Martinsville this Thursday April 2nd at 6:30pm. I will be giving a presentation on catching musky and stripers here in Virginia for the Smith River Trout Unlimited Chapter. All are welcome to attend!
