Took a break from the deer woods on election day and headed out to some musky water.  So after the voting was done my friend and I took off to the river.  We had good weather conditions cold and cloudy can’t ask for much better for predator fishing.  The river was low and clear as gin which didn’t help us other than to see the musky fleeing from the boat.  Saw a ton of musky but they saw us first and one follow to the boat from a pig but spooked when she got close enough to see the boat.  We were able to get two nice musky a 38″ and 41″ in the boat both fish were holding in deep water on downed trees.  The 41″ was the best bite missed the fly 30′ from the boat corrected itself and charged back to the fly to eat at the boat and I mean inches from the boat.
