I was up early the morning after Thanksgiving but it wasn’t to get the best deal I could on a new TV. I was up early to get my anglers out for the day on some trout water. With some much needed rain on Wednesday before the holiday it had some of Virginia’s waters off color, so we headed south to the South Holston River in TN just across the state line. The South Holston fished very well all day with nymphs. Around noon we started seeing blue winged olives on the water and a good number of fish rising. Even with the air temps in the low thirties we had a great day.
