Last Call for Topwater

September is here and unfortunately its the last month for topwater action for smallmouth.  Summer cicadas will start to die off along with other insects as nights get cooler.  So far not showing any chance of cooling off yet.  The hot weather has returned and looks to stay awhile longer which will prolong popper fishing!
